Join us for San Diego Gives – September 9, 2025!
San Diego Gives is a yearly, community-driven campaign that unites the people of San Diego to support over 180 local nonprofits that are doing life changing work across the community and making a real impact.
This year, the Vision of Children Foundation has joined forces with over 180 nonprofits across San Diego county to show the power of local giving. Your gift directly supports our mission, to ensure that no child has to live with hereditary blindness or vision loss by funding groundbreaking research, providing support to families, and raising awareness about the impact of hereditary vision disorders.

The Goal
Millions of children are born with severe vision disorders that greatly affect their quality of life. We aim to eradicate childhood blindness and restore vision to millions who cannot see clearly, but we cannot achieve our goals alone.
According to the USD Nonprofit Institute Annual Report, a staggering 83% of San Diegans have benefited from nonprofit services in the past year, showcasing the vital role these organizations play in our lives.

We accept donations via cash, checks (made payable to The Vision of Children Foundation), ACH deposits, and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Donations can be mailed to 12555 High Bluff Drive, Suite 330, San Diego, CA 92130. Secure online donations can be made via an electronic ACH payment or with a debit or credit card on our donation page.

BEQUESTS AND ESTATE PLAN GIFTS
You may make a bequest or gift through your estate by including a provision in your will or living trust, or by naming The Vision of Children Foundation as a beneficiary of a retirement plan or life insurance policy. The amount left can be expressed as a dollar amount or as a percentage of the assets to be given.
